Caroline is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and have been trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (which tends to focus on problem focused and shorter term work), psychodynamic therapy (which tends to focus on longer-term work) and person centred therapy. Whatever the approach, it is important to have a good working therapeutic relationship.
She has experience of working with adults with depression, anxiety and relationship problems. She has a special interest in working with people who are living with cancer, Tourette’s disease and neurological difficulties, such as multiple sclerosis and epilepsy. She also has experience of working with people with non epileptic seizures. In addition, she is particularly interested in working with people with dementia and with partners or family members of those with dementia.
